The City of Cottbus/Chóśebuz is one of the 13 municipalities and urban associations that the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building* (BMWSB) and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) are funding in the first round (2019) of the 'Model Projects Smart Cities' competition.
The BMWSB and KfW will grant a total of €750 million in four rounds. Cottbus/Chóśebuz receives €13.8 million and contributes €1.2 million from its own funds. This funding is provided for projects and measures specified in the project application.
By 2025, the City of Cottbus/Chóśebuz will become one of the most modern digital locations in Brandenburg, where the benefits of digitalization and progress can be directly experienced and felt by all citizens of Cottbus/Chóśebuz!
